We’ve been busy behind the scenes at Notes Community bringing you some updates that should make using the app a little more intuitive. 

Here’s what’s new:

1. Email Notifications of New Members – This one is for Group Admins. You’ll receive an email notification when a new person joins your group. This wil make it simpler for you to welcome them and get them onboarded
2. Email & Dashboard Notifications about New Messages – This one is for everybody. Each group has a message board, and now you’ll receive a dashboard notification (like the image below) whenever someone comments. You’ll also receive a periodic email digest with your unread notifications. You can, of course, opt out if that’s too much email.

Help Keep Notes Community Going

Last but not least, Notes Community is a labor of love. It’s totally free for anyone who wants to use it, but it isn’t free for those of us who developed it. In the interest of transparency, I spent about $1700 to get the site live and foresee spending about $65/month when the entire roadmap is implemented.
